Processing Geophysicists

NAEVA Geophysics, Inc. is seeking qualified individuals for several entry level positions at our Charlottesville, VA office as Processing Geophysicists

• Successful applicants must have a minimum of a B.S degree in geophysics or degree in geology or related earth sciences field with a geophysics emphasis
• Work is primarily focused on environmental assessment and remediation of government properties
• Geophysical methodologies will include electromagnetics (TDEM and FDEM), magnetics, ground penetrating radar (GPR), seismic, gravity, and resistivity

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Application of data corrections, interpretation and analysis of geophysical data for subsurface anomalous features and preparation of presentation quality geophysical maps
• Training will be provided
• Limited travel may be required.
• Familiarity with geophysical field, processing and interpretation practices and associated computer applications is preferred
• Strong computer skills are required and past experience with software such as OasisMontaj, AutoCAD and ArcGIS is beneficial
