Metallurgical Engineer

• A good metallurgy or materials science degree plus 3 years experience; or significant relevant experience
• Familiar with standard metallographic techniques
• Experienced failure investigator
• Experience with SEM and replication methods
• Regular communication and occasional site visits would be expected with other technical expertise both outside and within my client's global engineering centres, especially in Europe.
• Good communication, presentation and integration skills are essential in this international environment.
• Site working will require a reasonable level of fitness and the ability for independent working.
