Project Manager

- On a
monthly basis, the Project Manager will provide the Senior Project Manager
timely and accurate information on issues pertaining to the project delivery,
CRM and our clients wider business interest CRM, cost, progress, risk, EVA, change
or compensation management/opportunities.
- Provide
face to face the client's representative timely at least monthly, accurate and
comprehensive documented progress reports including EVA.
- Establish
and maintain effective trust-based, working face to face relationships with
Client's representatives and stakeholders ensuring Client Representatives needs
are understood and exceeded.
- Ensure
contracts with clients/subcontractors include scope, deliverables, schedule,
fee breakdown and payment process and are signed prior to commencing work.
- Build and
continually motivate the best Project team available with the right resources
to deliver the projects.
- Build and
maintain a comprehensive, realistic project schedule, Work Plan and budget.
- Lead the project
team to deliver project outputs through effective decision-making and teamwork,
ensuring risk is effectively assessed and managed risk register and cost is
actively controlled within the approved project budget.
- Ensure
information flows effectively and communicate at all times and all levels
inside and outside the project team to progress the project delivery
- This
particularly relates to third-party risk management.
- Proactively
maintain MWH financial, IMS, invoicing, aged debt contractual and project
systems including QA, Environmental, H&S and CDM to maximise revenue and
profit ensuring forward planning is accurate and effective, utilisation is
maximised and appropriate checks/reviews take place at the right time.
- The
suitable Project Manager will have a proven track record in this field, and may
have a Masters Degree in a suitable discipline and an excellent understanding
of project management techniques. Full membership of the Association for
Project Management and completion of the Introductory Certificate is essential,
with APMP qualification preferred.
- A UK driving Licence is essential.
- Possible
degree disciplines include: Contaminated Land, Environmental Science, Geology,
Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering, Geography, Town and Country
