Our client, a large US coal company, is
seeking qualified Land Agents to support their mine operations in Marion, IL.
Land Agent – 2
- These positions will be working with the Land Department for a mining
operation
- The qualified candidates will be responsible for the acquisition of
land, establish values, reviews and negotiates terms, prepares and submits
reports, contracts, and deeds, and prepares transaction for closing
- Work is generally subject to review on terms and final agreement.
Qualified Candidates Will Possess:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in land acquisition and sales in mining industry
would be a plus
- Must have good negotiation skills and an understanding of the real
estate market
- Real estate license generally desired; general understanding of real
estate principles and laws
The position offers a competitive compensation of $60k - $70K depending
on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
