Mining Engineer

• Experienced Mining Engineer to lead a team of junior to intermediate engineers in providing engineering support for pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, proposals/bids, mine planning and mining projects
• A degree in mining engineering, plus previous mining engineering design experience, especially in underground mine construction
• Responsibilities will include engineering project management, including weekly reporting, design change notice management and capital estimate management, specification and procurement package writing and analysis, assisting the contracting and business development groups with tendering work and estimation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Primavera and AutoCAD, experienced in project management, reporting writing for scoping and feasibility studies, estimating and scheduling, a general knowledge of applicable mining regulations, safety codes and acts, familiar with underground excavation and construction of mine development, shafts, raises and construction for mine infrastructure.
