We are growing and require
Senior Contaminant / Hydrogeologist Specialists to join our Western Canada
Team.
Positions
now open in:
- Calgary
- Edmonton
- Vancouver
- Halifax
- and various US locations.
The successful candidate will:
- Work with a team to develop and grow an
existing group of dynamic professionals, including junior, intermediate
and senior engineers and geoscientists as well as play a lead role in the
management of a wide variety of contaminant hydrogeology and remediation
projects
- Have experience in business and
personnel management, showing evidence of people, leadership, managerial
and conflict resolution skills
- Lead team members in business
development and marketing, with the aim to grow the diversity and
productivity of the group
- Work with other business units,
supporting their need for contaminant assessment and marketing the
skills/capabilities of other units to contaminant investigation clients
- Prepare proposals, SOQ’s etc.,
individually and within a team environment. The team might consist of
other environmental investigation professionals, or professionals from
other business units, including infrastructure, mining, geotechnical or
materials divisions
- Support the Unit Management in
achieving business targets and strategic initiatives of the Burnaby or, Edmonton, or Calgary
Environmental business units
- Provide financial leadership.
- Provide additional capabilities with
regards to senior technical review and leadership in employee health and
safety programs
- Demonstrated experience and leadership
in project management, including budget, schedule and deliverable
performance
Requirements
- A Bachelor degree in Engineering
(Civil, Geological or Environmental), Geology or related discipline
- A post-graduate degree in Hydrogeology
or related discipline is preferred but not required
- P.Eng or P.Geo or Natural Science
professional with extensive experience in contaminant investigation or
remediation.
- Ten years or more of relevant
experience with the Alberta and or BC
Contaminant Sites environmental regulations and projects.
