Our
client provides customers worldwide with soda ash, sodium sulfate and boron
minerals from the desert. These minerals are essential in the manufacturing
of a variety of goods essential to modern day life. (Glass, ceramics,
carbonated beverages, animal feed, paper products and detergents) They have
been mining these minerals for over 200 years and continue to grow every year.
They
are seeking Qualified Engineers with a Chemical background for their facility
located in Trona, Ca. (Near Ridgecrest, Ca)
The successful
candidate for each position must have:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering plus one to five years experience.
- Preferred background would include a chemical process environment
involving liquid, slurry and dry solids processing and handling, in a variety
of chemical unit operations.
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance processes,
mechanical failure and vibrations analysis techniques, and a sound
understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
