Positions can be either Perth based or FIFO from Perth.
In these role some of your main responsibilities can include:
· Identify, investigate and implement improvement opportunities in conjunction with operations and maintenance sections
· Evaluate, develop and progress various metallurgical projects
· Support and advance critical equipment design, including mill linings, flotation cells, thickeners and sampling systems
· Consult with Geologists and Mining Engineers on short and medium term mine plans in order to optimise plant performance
· Daily, weekly and monthly metallurgical balances and reporting
· Participate in ongoing training and development within the team
The successful applicant will be tertiary qualified in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent and have a minimum of two years experience with SAG mill circuits and/or base metal flotation.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and be in the range of $85,000 - $115,000 + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for exceptional candidates.
