Our client is an international services company serving the engineering, infrastructure, defence, environmental, water and transportation industries to name a few, from comfortable city offices overlooking the Swan River.
This position is [Location] and requires working closely with clients at least throughout Western Australia. A strong understanding of the market for hydrogeological consultancy services in Western Australia is preferred, or a successful track record of experience in other locations.
You will be responsible for project management and technical direction of hydrogeological and contaminated land site investigations; provision of review and comment on complex groundwater quality and flow aspects of various projects including groundwater resource assessments for mining and infrastructure projects; provision of peer review of hydrogeological and site contamination assessments; hydrogeological input to statutory environmental audits; initiate and implement business development and client management for existing and new clients; deliver project services in accordance with Health and Safety systems; preparation of tenders and proposals as Proposal Manager / Proposal Director; initiate and provide technical training / mentoring for graduate and junior staff; and take a leadership role in workgroup initiatives including technical activities.
Tertiary level qualifications in Geology / Hydrogeology, and a driver's license are essential and postgraduate qualification in Hydrogeology would be highly advantageous, as is a minimum of 5 -8 years experience.
