Invoice Clerk

SDS Resources, LLC is currently in need of Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers and Designers for various power companies and plants throughout the southeast. Responsible for processing of project invoices from receipt of vendor invoices through the transmittal to accounts payable (AP) for payment

Applicant will ensure invoices are logged into project invoice log, verify that invoices match approved purchase orders and have proper support documentation, route invoices to obtain project approval, and forward approved invoices to AP

• Will review company’s accounting records to ensure payment has been processed and will enter payment date onto invoice log.
• Produce reports denoting status of invoice approvals and processing.
• Maintain files of approved invoices, purchase orders, and contracts for the project.
• Provide direction to other invoice clerks to complete required tasks
• The position will be located at Plant Scherer; Macon, GA.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts payable and overall knowledge of accounting principles.
• Basic understanding of procurement. Advanced knowledge of microsoft applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fast learner with ability to delve into multiple systems for project information
• Excellent interpersonal skills in order to work with and become a part of the project team.
• Experience in construction a plus.
