Our Client is a well-funded exploration company with 3-yrs of minerals experience in Tajikistan.

• The company is looking for an experienced mining engineer with knowledge of optimising open pit coal deposits. The prospective mine sites are located at an altitude of 3000m.
• The deposits consist of 174Mt of anthracite, a potentially 650Mt of steaming coal and a 17Mt of steaming coal deposits. The company also undertaking a drill programme to define a potential 950000 oz gold deposit.
• You will be required to provide expertise and direction related to engineering design, open cast mining and 'muck-shifting'
• Other information will relate to optimal equipment usage and pit optimisation, as well as mentoring local mining engineers.

The company are looking for a full time mining engineer to go to Tajikistan, with a FIFO rota of 10-weeks on and 2-weeks off.

The company will pay a good expatriate package, with incentives, and provide conditions on an 'all found' basis.

This is an urgent role, but candidate experience and expertise will be thoroughly reviewed prior to contract offerings
