Our Client is a company of engineering consultants specialising in assisting clients with the development, design and construction of new mining projects and the refurbishment of existing gold, base-metal and industrial minerals ore processing plants.

The company has a requirement for one (1) electrical supervisor, somebody with many years of electrical installation (construction) and commissioning experience. You would be supervising and working with subcontractors on mid-sized MEIP construction projects.

Experience:

• Supervision would relate to electrical works across the reticulation range (HV, MV, LV) on a mining and mineral process project in an expatriate environment;
• Previous experience of electrical construction works is required, on voltages up to 11kv and including instrumentation works, including scada, PLC and programming;
• You will have worked in mining and mineral related industrial sectors, i.e. mining, minerals, power/utilities, pulp and paper, refineries, aluminium or oil & gas industries.

Candidate Requirements:

• Candidates will have +5 years experience at a similar level of responsibility,
• Work experience should include experience in Africa, preferably Francophone countries;
• A good grasp of working level or fluency in French would be a big advantage;
• Some experience in the use of project software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) would be useful;
• Candidates will be time-served (full apprenticeship) or educated to ONC, HNC or Diploma-level in Electrical Engineering
