Seeking motivated personnel to fill a labouring role within one of our major clients located in Pakenham.

Our clients quarry produces the materials that are used in the construction of roads etc, within the quarry large scale mining machines source the rocks from the earth and then crush them down into smaller usable pieces, the quarry located in Pakenham has a position available for a physically fit and able person to shovel up the stones that fall from the machines and shutes as they are transported onto the trucks, the role will also include cleaning away excess rocks that pile up around the mill area, the role will be outdoors but much of the area is undercover.

This is a physically demanding role so applicants will need to be fit and willing to work hard to succeed in this position, the shifts are kept short so that it's not too physically taxing and the later start time allows people who may have part time work, school or other commitments throughout the day to apply.

If high fuel costs or increased interest rates are hitting you hard then this role is a fantastic opportunity for you to earn extra cash while only having to work a few extra hours a week.

The hours are 4pm to 8pm, two to three days a week with the opportunity for overtime available every now and then, with a pay rate of $23+ per hour.

To ensure the safety of all employees our client has implemented strict OH&S policies, so before commencing work you will be required to do an onsite induction which takes approx 3 hrs.

Steel cap safety boots are a MUST! However masks, hard hats & safety glasses will be provided for you.
