Multi-Media Specialist

Joy Mining Machinery, the world's leading producer of underground mining machinery, has an immediate opening for a Multi- Media Specialist at its Warrendale, PA location

• A bachelor's degree with at least three years experience in communications, marketing, or a related business discipline is preferred
• Must be an expert in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio software
• Photo editing and "Flash" software experience beneficial
• This position requires an individual that is enthusiastic, energetic, a self-starter, has initiative, learns quickly, and is an excellent communicator. The Multi-Media Specialist must be able to put in the time necessary to complete projects as required, be capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines, and be receptive to frequent changes and edits to materials and documents.
• The incumbent in this position will be responsible for acquiring information to incorporate into and prepare PowerPoint presentations for high-level business meetings, trade shows, and events. The incumbent will work directly with the President and COO on PowerPoint presentations
• This position is also responsible for audiovisual set up for presentations and events

Other tasks include establishing and organizing a global multi-media database, ownership of the Intranet multi-media database and presentation resource, train sales and marketing staff in effective use of visuals, and evaluation of multi-media development software and hardware.
