Safety Superintendent

This well established Mining Company is spread throughout five continents and has large proven and probable reserves. This position is based out of North Queensland where the lifestyle is relaxed and you have 6 days to wind down.
With a focus on safety management systems, you’ll support line management by providing timely advice and assistance in safety. You will ensure that operations are performed in compliance with statutory requirements and lead and coach a team of heath and safety and emergency services in the delivery of a best practices.
With Health and Safety systems experience within the mining industry, you will have demonstrated experience in safety management systems design, development and implementation within the mining and mineral processing industry. You will have tertiary qualifications in health and safety management or an engineering discipline.
As the Safety Superintendent, you will also exhibit effective organisational and problem solving skills, and highly developed communication and time management skills. It is expected that you will have a minimum 5-7 years experience in a mine environment.
An excellent remuneration package will be based on experience. Roster is FIFO from [Location] on 8 days on and 6 days off roster.
