Underground Mine Trainer

Listed on the ASX, our client is one of Australia’s mining success stories. They have several operations throughout Australia and abroad, with further exploration activities occurring in Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, China and other parts of Asia and Australia.

Due to continued growth within their Western Australia operation they are currently in search of an UG Trainer to enhance their growing team.

This role will report to the Senior Mine Trainer. Your responsibilities will include:
·         Conducting and reviewing competency based training programs for the Mining Department
·         Training new staff members to ensure that competency standards are met
·         Ensuring training records maintained
·         Coordinating site based training
·         Conducting toolbox meetings
·         Contributing to the process of continually improving training resources
·         Evaluating and reviewing system performance on an ongoing basis

Requirements
You will possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, together with a minimum of 5 years experience within an underground mining environment. You will be familiar with underground mining machinery including boggers and jumbos.
