Our client is a diverse engineering and construction organisation with an international reputation for innovation and excellence have been awarded a significant Mineral Sands Project based in[Location] .
Our client is seeking a suitably qualified and site experienced HSES Advisor
Responsibilities
· Supporting all employees in the implementation and ongoing development of the HSEMS
· Providing training and mentoring for various site HSE initiatives
· Monitoring and reporting on site activities
· Ensuring site standards are maintained and enhanced through a pro-active attitude towards HSE
Qualifications / Experience:
· Tertiary qualifications in a HSE related field
· 3 - 5 years construction industry exposure with experience in sub/contractor management crucial to the role
· Exposure to Victorian Safety & Environmental Legislation preferred
· High level written and verbal communication skills
· Further relevant industry qualifications would be an advantage eg O/FA, Training
· Must be willing and able to work autonomously
