OHS Advisor/Superintendent

A leading Australian organisation seeks a highly motivated individual to provide advice, assistance, guidance and support to project line management as part of the larger site HSE management team on all safety, health and environment issues relevant to the project
Responsibilities include:
· Implementing and communicating of compliance requirements for the Project HSE Procedures and work standards/practices
· Conducting appropriate site induction training for all our employees and subcontractor personnel
· Provide assistance to supervisors and workers in hazard identification, risk assessment and job hazard analysis
· Monitor HSE compliance through inspections and observations of the workplace
· Report all HSE non-compliance to the Project HSE Manager/Project Manager
· Identify needs for HSE training and coordinate sessions/courses for site personnelAttend site operational meetings reporting on HSE performance statusMonitor compliance with the requirements as detailed in the HSE Activity Planner
· Essential Criteria for this role include:
· Certificate iv in Occupational Health and Safety or higher
· Minimum of two years experience in mining or construction environment
· Good interpersonal/communication skills
