An Environmental Superintendent will be offered an opportunity to join our clients world-class team of Health, Safety and Environmental professionals.
Reporting to the HSE Manager you will lead the charge to achieve this major operations environmental targets and initiatives. Your skills and knowledge will be sound and solid when it comes to reducing their impact on the environment, whilst keeping production to a high level.
You will need to possess:
· Experience in mining operations monitoring environmental impact
· Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or a similar discipline
· Sound knowledge of the legislations and standards pertaining to mining operations
· Solid ability to conduct audits and write reports
· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
· Strong leadership attributes
· Sound knowledge of Environmental Management systems
· Exposure to the development of management systems to ensure ISO 14001 accreditation
· A strong ability to deliver solutions as a result of your monitoring skills
