A Health and Safety Superintendent will be offered an opportunity to join our clients world-class team of Health, Safety and Environmental professionals.
You will be a key person in leading the charge to achieve this major operations HSE targets and initiatives. Your skills and knowledge will be sound and solid when it comes to reducing risk to employees, whilst keeping production to a high level.
You will need to possess:
· Experience in mining operations monitoring health and safety performance
· Tertiary qualifications in OHS
· Sound knowledge of the legislations and standards pertaining to coal mining operations
· Solid ability to conduct audits and write reports
· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
· Strong leadership attributes
· Sound knowledge of Safety Management systems
· A strong ability to deliver solutions as a result of your monitoring skills
