Senior Technical Service Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy/Engineering

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identification of customer needs
• Translating needs into a series of actions aimed at finding solutions to those needs
• Laboratory and plant testing of reagents focused on improving customers operation
• Technical report writing and presentation of reports and findings to customers
• Dissemination of customer interactions to manager and peer group
• Dissemination of competitive information to manager and peer group
• Maintain a general understanding and knowledge of the mineral processing industry and Cytec reagent technology  

BUSINESS/TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCES (Must have):

• Technical and numerical aptitude - due to scientific nature of position
• Computer skills to enable effective analysis and interpretation of data
• Communication skills - to disseminate information on a regular and timely basis
• Experience in laboratory/mineral processing operations to effectively do the mechanical aspects of the position.
