Computer/Database Geologist

Exploring a significant greenfields Platinum-Palladium discovery near Thunder Bay in northwest Ontario Magma Metals (Canada) Limited is a 100% owned subsidiary of Magma Metals Limited an Australian Stock Exchange listed exploration company focused on Ni-Cu-PGM in Ontario and

Western Australia. Magma has offices in Perth in Western Australia and Thunder Bay in Ontario.

The company plans to dual list on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

COMPUTER/DATABASE GEOLOGIST

• An experienced computer geologist is required to set-up and manage Magma’s exploration database and related software. Key attributes include:
• Excellent qualifications in geology & computing
• Experience in one or more database packages and related exploration software including GIS
• Experience in setting-up and managing databases for large drilling programs.

These positions are based in the Thunder Bay office reporting to the Exploration Manager – Canada. They are hands-on and varied roles within a small team where you will have significant input to the decision making process. High levels of personal energy and enthusiasm and excellent communication skills are required.
