Plant Electrician

Summary Description of Duties:

• The candidate will be responsible for electrical and instrumentation systems on the mine site.
• Knowledge and skill of troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, testing, cleaning of de-energized and energized electrical equipment, ranging from fractional HP to 6000 HP, including VFD’s, PLC’s, and safe practices of working around equipment ranging up to 24,900 VAC and 500 VDC is desirable. Instrumentation experience, working with sensors, process measurement/control variables (flows, pressures, weights, levels, temperatures, etc) Distributed Control System maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable

Qualifications

• The candidate must have well developed analytical skills for troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation equipment and be able to read and understand electrical schematics, technical papers, and technical manuals
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision and work effectively with others, and participate in a team environment.
