Mechanical Engineer

Summary Description of Duties:

• The Mechanical Engineer's daily responsibilities will support both the operations and the Plant Maintenance groups to improve system reliability and efficiency, safety, equipment control, and procedures.
• Position requires an individual to serve as Project Engineer on small plant expansion or improvement projects and support Hydrology in sizing pumps/motors, and piping systems.

Positions responsibilities include:

• Plant crushing and conveyor systems, leach solution pump stations, solution processing plant, Process water system and Mill.

Qualifications:

• BA or BSc in mechincal engineering. Ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years related work experience
• In addition, must posses strong technical writing and communication skills, knowledge or pump and piping systems, water modeling, structural design, conveyor systems, instrumentation and control, knowledge of fluid dynamics and structural skills
• Computer skills to include: AutoCAD, word processing, MS Office and Spreadsheet.
