Part of an International Group, our client is the recognised leader in their field of offsite manufacture and construction; designing, manufacturing and installing their product. They provide project design and specialised services for their customers; in essence a total turnkey operation.
As part of [Mine], we are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Site Safety Supervisor. Working with the team contracted to manufacture and install the site's accommodation requirements, you will be drawing on both your mining and construction safety experience.
Being a greenfield site, you will initially develop Work Method Statements and align the company's Safety Management System with that of BMA. Once installation has commenced, you will be responsible for overseeing the site's OHS including Inductions, training and conducting risk assessments.
You will be dealing largely with sub-contractors working on civil/construction projects within the site. You will conduct daily pre-start and tool box meetings and be responsible for updating and reviewing safety procedures.
Critical to this role is your demonstrated success in managing overall site safety. A background in construction would be advantageous, however not critical.

· Current Coal Board Medical
· BMA Site Specific Induction through SGS Australia
