Job description
We have big expansion plans for our Alberta operations. Along with big plans, comes big opportunity. You will play a crucial role in achieving our goal of becoming a leading producer in the Alberta oilsands.
ACTIVITY
- Independently analyze and produce reports / presentations on major industry / market trends and key issues including oil / gas development trends and business impacts / strategies regarding issues including environment (climate change and CCS), new and existing regulations (royalty framework) and developing technologies.
- Support the preparation and development of Joint Venture and other agreements
- Help develop the subsidiary’s growth strategy
- Develop and create the support materials (handouts, presentations etc.) for the internal approval processes
- Identify and support new business opportunities for TEP Canada in line with the subsidiary’s strategy
- Actively develop a network within Calgary business community
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identification and preparation of key reports and analysis regarding industry trends.
- Joint Venture and other agreement preparation.
- Support technical and economical evaluations of new business opportunities.
- Identify and promote new business opportunities for TEP Canada.
Education :
Experience :
- 10 years of Canadian oil and gas experience.
Skills :
- Capability to take the overall lead of the analysis and internal coordination of complex business issues.
- Thorough understanding of economic evaluations and market fundamentals.
- Capability of strategic thinking and formulation and ability to innovate.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
