Longwall Mechanical Coordinator

Our client, a well renowned company at the forefront of the Australian coal industry is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Longwall Mechanical Coordinator to join the established maintenance team. Reporting to the Longwall Superintendent, your role will focus on the coordination of all mechanical activities of the underground equipment and the strong leadership of your team.
Within this role you will be responsible for the following:
· Maintain a safe and productive environment
· Adhere to statutory requirements and ensure safety compliance
· Strong planning and communication with other members of the maintenance and operations teams to achieve optimum performance targets
· Performance monitoring and improving reliability
To be successful in this position you must have a demonstrated leadership skills covering previous mine based mechanical maintenance roles in underground coal environments coupled with exposure to planning and supervising maintenance activities.
In addition, it is essential you possess strong communication and liaison skills, coupled with relevant trade experience.
