Excellent opportunity to join a progressive ASX listed based in[Location] . The company owns coal, oil and gas tenements covering large parts of Western Australia and is concentrating on developing its thermal coal properties. The role is based in [Location] but will require frequent travel and working in Western Australia.
Responsibilities
· Manage all aspects of the exploration programs and budgets
· Manage the strategic development of coal program
· Manage geologists, contractors and consultants
· Evaluate new prospects
· Manage exploration teams in the field
· Provide specialist technical evaluation and advice
Skills / Experience Required
· Geology degree with project management experience
· Experience in Sedimentary Basins essential
· CSM experience an advantage
· Commitment to safety
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to think strategically
· Strong team player
