Operating at the forefront of Mining technology, and with operations expanding across Australia, our [Location] based client currently requires the services of a motivated and experienced mechanical engineer to oversee and deliver design of large scale national and international projects.
Candidates should hold a BE in mechanical engineering along senior level postgraduate relevant experience within the Mining industry. Candidates should also have knowledge and experience of:
· Leading and overseeing engineering design teams
· Relevant Australian acts, regulations, standards and international codes;
· Assistance in generation of design briefs for the EPCM contractors;
· Materials Handling equipment such as conveyors, crushers, hoppers;
· Conceptual, FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning and maintenance phases.
It is also expected that the successful candidate will have a high level of integrity, excellent communication skills and the ability to converse at all levels in the organisation.
