A world wide supplier of materials handling systems for the mining and
energy industries, located in San Diego, CA, is currently working on projects
in Argentina, Chile, Turkey, Mexico, and the United States. We are seeking
multiple Project Managers to work in our Project Management Group.
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years experience in
Industrial/Mining Projects.
- A degree in Engineering or a Construction Management related field is a
plus.
- The Project manager will be responsible for the successful execution of
design/build projects within established budgets and schedule.
- The successful candidate will have experience in project scheduling,
document control, identifying and managing construction risks, managing
subcontractors, and managing client.
- He/she will possess the ability to manage and supervise the project team
and ensure the safety and environmental integrity of the project.
- The Project Manager will be responsible for commissioning of installed
equipment.
- Must be willing to work in the office or the field as projects dictate.
- Must be willing to travel over extended periods.
This position will require approx 6-8 mths in San Diego, followed by
approx 1 year in Chile (full time).
Salary $120k/yr base ($170k with bonuses)

services for mine operators and engineering houses during feasibility, design,
fabrication and/or construction processes. Our client has developed a broad
range of services including spare parts and equipment sourcing, expediting
services, system debottlenecking, maintenance improvement programs and operator
training.
