Senior Environmental Manager

Moody & Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Environmental Manager for our Pittsburgh area office(Houston, Pa)with 15 years or more of experience performing and managing projects and staff in the mining sector.

• Qualified candidates will have a degree in geology or, environmental engineering, environmental science or related degree.
• Additionally, above average communication skills, the ability to manage staff and assist in marketing requisite.
• The successful candidate will be positioned within a few years to compete for the general manager role of this regional office. 

Areas of project focus relating to mining consist of:

• Probable hydrogeologic consequence statements
• Regional hydrologic evaluations
• Groundwater and surface water monitoring and sampling
• Underground and surface mine permitting
• Wetland hydrology impacts
• Surface hydrology and hydraulic evaluations
• Permitting of coal waste facilities
