Electrical Service Technicians

P&H MinePro Services is a global leader in the manufacture and service of pace-setting large excavating and drilling machines used to mine copper, coal, iron ore, silver, gold, diamonds, oilsands, phosphate, molybdenum, potash, and other minerals and bedded materials. Ninety percent of the world’s surface mines utilize P&H equipment.

We now have exciting opportunities in our Salt Lake City territory. If selected, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting customers and/or colleagues in troubleshooting and repairing P&H equipment in a timely manner.
• Assisting customers in the maintenance of P&H equipment.
• Assisting Service Engineers with the validation of P&H product applications prior to formal product release.
• Building and installing new machines and upgrades.
• Assisting with new product and machine electrical commissioning.
• Assisting the field mechanical service as needed.

To qualify, we require:

• 1-2 years’ experience in the electrical field with motor controls, PLC’s, Digital drives, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Ability to use a wide array of diagnostic and functional tools as well as specialty instruments.
• Must have excellent computer skills, as well as verbal and written skills.
• Must be flexible to travel based on need and company objectives.
