Mechanical Engineer

Our Client’s Iron Ore Project is based in [Location]. They are currently seeking the services of a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Reporting to the Manager Technical Services this position is offered on a permanent, Fly in Fly out of [Location] basis.
Responsibilities of this role are:
· Advise, assist and or manage any or all parts of the scoping, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up and handover of Capital Projects at the mine sites and processing facilities as required in accordance with the minimum standards adopted by our Client.
· Advise, assist and or manage support of maintenance activities on behalf of our Client at the mine sites and processing facilities as required.
· Assist our Client with achieving and maintaining statutory compliance, in accordance with all relevant regulatory authorities.
Requirements of this role are:
· Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
· Three years post graduate experience as a team member in a plant optimisation or maintenance role.
· Any previous project management experience and qualifications with a recognised engineering contractor.
· Computing skills, must be familiar with programmes like Excel, Word & Projects.
