You are a tertiary qualified mining professional with significant experience in project or operational responsibilities. You enjoy leading a dynamic and focused team of professionals who look to you for continuous performance improvement and organic business growth.

Our client has been operating since the early 1900s and has grown to become a formidable force in the domestic and south pacific mining industry.
Having recently expanded their operations in [Location], further planned growth is expected in the short to medium term. As the Operations Manager QLD Open Cut you must be able to demonstrate senior operational experience in an open cut environment and possess commercial acumen that is commensurate with the expectations of the role.
Reporting to the General Manager Operations, your responsibilities will include operational productivity and process improvement, capital utilisation, HSE standards and performance, client relationship management, business growth and contract tender preparation and presentation.
The role is based in [Location] and will require regular travel to 2 - 3 open pit mining operations located in [Location].
