An exciting opportunity exists for a Mine Geologist to join this highly successful and profitable company.
This ASX Top 100 listed company has a new mine that is about to commence operation in South Australia and is looking for a suitably experienced Mine Geologist to join and provide leadership to their expanding team.
What's exciting about this opportunity is the new major find located near their current mine site.
In this role you will be required to demonstrate your good grade modelling skills in geological pit mapping to define the ore body. It is preferable that you have experience with Vulcan.
You will also be responsible for developing and executing the grade control system, reconciling production against reserves and developing mine geology plans and budgets
As the successful candidate you will have at least between 7-10 years post graduate experience with exposure to IOCG deposits . Experience with iron-ore would also be beneficial as would exposure to poly-metallic ore deposits.
The role is FIFO from [Location] on a 9:5 roster. The camp accommodation is great. Your salary will be commensurate with your qualifications and experience. In addition to this you will be entitled to production bonuses after KPIs are met.
