Our client is one of Western Australia's leading crane hire companies. This company is currently going through an aggressive expansion phase and is looking to recruit a Depot Manager to manage operations in [Location].

This is your opportunity to join a company that is involved in various multi million dollar mining projects throughout Western Australia. You will be supported by a highly experienced management team, crane operators and rigging staff that have a combined industry experience of over 200 years.
The company also boasts a modern auxiliary fleet of trucks, light vehicles and a vast array of certified ancillary lifting equipment.
Responsibilities:
· Overseeing all depot staff including Crane Operators, Truck Drivers, Riggers and Dogmen
· Implementing and auditing HSE management systems for the company and associated client sites
· Ensuring regular safety inspections and maintenance are conducted on all equipment
· Participation in daily HSE meetings and inductions
· Coordination of permits with main roads and client sites
· Liaising with clients and staff to ensure appropriate allocation of resources
· Management of all records, company and personnel files
· Liaising with clients and preparing quotations
· Ensuring projects are planned and well managed
· Preparation of lift studies, JHA's, Risk assessments, etc.
· Undertaking on-site inductions of new staff
· Authorizing depot purchase orders
· Liaising with the HR Officer in regards to recruitment and staff training
· Providing weekly management reports to CEO
Ideally you will be someone who has had previous experience working in a similar role along with a strong ability to multi-task and undertake a number of activities successfully. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and positively influence others will be essential.
Requirements
· Minimum of five years supervisory experience
· Extensive experience within the construction & mining industry
· Worksafe Ticket: RA(Advanced Rigging) and/or CO (Crane Operator)
· Construction Industry Safety Awareness (Bluecard)
· Current Drivers License
· Mine Workers Health Surveillance (MWHS)
