This Australian gold producer has developed from a junior Greenfield explorer into an emerging producer with a portfolio of high quality exploration projects, both wholly owned and in joint ventures with a number of reputable international mining houses.
As the Alternate Underground Manager, you will gain exposure at an exciting new underground mine and gold processing plant within an experienced team. The company's 2006 feasibility study confirmed that their flagship site will develop into one of Australia's premier, new generation gold mines.
Using a combination of sub level open stoping and benching, the mine life is at least 5 years and with further extensional drilling already underway, the existing LOM will almost certainly be extended. Reporting to the Mining Manager, you will have extensive underground experience with responsibilities covering;
All the day to day running of a 'start up' underground operation at a production rate of 1.0mtpa.
Project evaluation, management and cost monitoring.
Assisting in the development and implementation of both short and long term production planning and targets.
Assisting in the development, implementation and monitoring of key performance indicators.
Actively promote safe and environmentally sound work procedures and systems.
