Mandalong is a high tech cutting edge modern longwall operation currently producing 4.5mt per year. In this senior management role which has arisen as a result of internal staff movement, you will set the benchmark for standards of engineering practise.
A driven, results-orientated leader with proven underground mechanical engineering experience with high capacity longwall systems and modern roadway development equipment and a familiarity with systems and compliance, you'll provide a high level of technical expertise and ensure safe, cost-effective and timely engineering solutions.
You will undertake high-level reviews of equipment KPIs including availabilities, operating costs and safety performance, as well as provide technical engineering support and advice. A Mechanical Engineering Certificate of Competency is essential as you will hold the statutory position of Manager of Mechanical Engineering at the mine. Relocation expenses will be provided.
