Due to the development of new underground decline within[Location] , an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced mine surveyor to join the site survey team.
The primary objective of this position will be to perform all surface and underground surveyor operations across our site on a daily basis, whilst complying with all statutory requirements and company Safety, Health & Environment standards and Procedures. Our client is looking for an applicant who has obtained a Western Australia Grade 1 Mine Surveyors Certificate.
This position will be full time, on a FIFO roster from Perth and will report directly to the Surveying manager.
Key responsibilities and desired attributes will include:
· Support to all Surface and Open Pit Surveyor operations
· Implement and maintain Underground Survey Control
· Develop and implement all mine surveyor calculations and drafting requirements for the underground operations
· Prepare and compile accurate and timely EOM and mine production reports
To be the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate:
· A high degree of self motivation and excellent organisation skills
· Formal qualifications in mine surveying
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience as a surveyor in an Underground mine
