Senior Exploration Geologist

A highly respected exploration and mining company is looking for a senior exploration geologist to join their business on an 8/6 FIFO roster.
The scope of work will include identifying and developing conceptual exploration targets and the application of advanced exploration techniques, geophysical interpretation,structural modeling and the supervision of exploration personnel. You will also be responsible for analysing resource data and generating JORC compliant mineral resources and managing the exploration budget.
You will have:
· Australian recognised Tertiary Qualification in Geology
· Familiarity with ore resource evaluation and estimation procedures
· Computer literacy including Surpac or equivalent, Micromine, MapInfo and Datashed equivalent
· Previous exposure to Archaean greenstone gold systems including knowledge of mineralisation styles, exploration methods, geochemistry and structural interpretation.
This opportunity will allow the successful applicant to become and integral member of a team developing regional and advanced exploration projects
