Our client is a world renowned international consulting firm specialising in ground engineering and environmental and earth sciences. As a leader in the field of geotechnical engineering, environmental sciences and mining, they attract and retain the world's leading expertise in ground engineering
As part of their geotechnical team you will be able to contribute to a variety of major projects in [Location] with opportunity to work on overseas projects if desired.
Candidates who are short-listed for this opportunity will have experience in some or all of the following areas;
· Embankment dams and tailings storage facilities
· Tailings disposal systems
· Geotechnical and civil engineering for major industrial and mining infrastructure
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will also have strong experience in civil and geotechnical engineering which will enable you to make a positive contribution to conceptual and feasibility studies for mining and industrial projects throughout Australia and overseas.
This role will see you being responsible for the full scope of geotechnical input from site investigation, through the design, tendering and construction phases, on to operations, performance monitoring, and maintenance.
