[Employer] is a leading supplier of workforce solutions to a number of Australia’s major mining companies. [Employer] large client base means we are able to offer a number of FIFO positions in a variety of roles professional areas.
We are currently looking to recruit two Project Coordinators for a six month contract role with our mining client at their open pit uranium operation located [Location] .
The successful candidates will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the project crew whilst ensuring that safety and other crucial factors are met in accordance with client and legislative policies and procedures.
To be successful in the role you will have the following:
· Previous supervisory or leading hand experience in a heavy mining / civil environment
· Heavy plant operating experience
· Demonstrated commitment to safety
· Strong computer literacy and knowledge of systems run by major mining operators
· Good communication skills
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessing or form of safety certification would be advantageous.
The roster is likely to be 3/1 FIFO [Location] (preferably, although strong interstate candidates will be considered) and accommodation and meals will be provided.
