An exciting opportunity exists for a self starting & enthusiastic Project Geologist to join this well funded and rapidly growing junior exploration company.
Set in the Outback of Australia’s resource rich Northern Territory, our client is seeking an experienced Project Geologist with a preferable background in tin, ready to hit the ground running!!!
Working autonomously, you will be based out of Darwin and partaking in a vast amount of field work. In return you will be offered a very competitive salary, health cover, superannuation and eligibility to participate in the employee share scheme after one year. The ideal candidate will possess:
· 3 to 5 years experience in an exploration role.
· BSc in Geology as a minimum.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and GIS software package such as Mapinfo. A background in Vulcan would be desirable.
· Good all-round field exploration skills.
· Knowledge of structural geology and ore forming processes will be highly regarded.
· Knowledge of Northern Territory geology would be an advantage.
· Experience and dealing with contractors.
· Planning and running of own drill programs, sampling and logging.
