Field Technician

Austin, TX office of
nationally recognized consulting firm seeks an entry-level field technician.
Applicant MUST have a 4-year degree in any of the following: Geology, Earth
Science, Engineering, or related field.
General job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Perform on-site and remote seismograph vibration monitoring at mining,
quarry, geophysical and construction operations
- Conduct detailed inspections of homes, commercial buildings/other
structures and Field technicians are responsible for general office duties
including technical report writing and proofreading, use of general office
machines and software including MS Office
- Strong computer skills considered a plus
- On the job training is provided
- MUST be willing to travel for extensive periods of time and have
reliable transportation
Entry level salary plus great benefits and mileage reimbursement at US government rate.
