Mechanical Maintenance Technician

• As a maintenance technician your role will see you organizing and carrying out engineering examinations and maintenance of railway equipment in a busy freight yard
• There is a healthy variety of maintenance activities which can be distinguished both electrically and mechanically
• Mechanical works will include dealing with vehicle brakes, wheel sets etc.

Required Experience

• With good electrical and mechanical maintenance experience gained within the forces, manufacturing or plant machinery environment you will be keen to transfer into a new sector where full product training will be given to develop industry competence
