Maintenance Foreman

Our Client’s Manganese operations in [Location] whose operations run out of several small open pits, mining up to 1 million tonnes per year, they are currently seeking the services of an experienced Maintenance Foreman.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent the position is offered on a permanent FIFO from [Location], 2:1 roster.
The Responsibilities of this position are:
· Developing and Implementing Maintenance strategies for the mobile fleet
· Supervise the safe work environment and practices in the mobile plant maintenance area
· Plan and Schedule maintenance activities
· Cost effective ordering of parts and consumables
Requirements of this position are:
· Minimum 5 years as Leading Hand or above in a similar environment
· Trade qualified fitter/ mechanic background
· Computer literate Pronto, MS-Excel and MS-Word
· Develop and implement OHSE practices
· Ability to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure
