An Electrical Engineering Manager position is available for immediate start at one of our clients' underground coal operations in Central Queensland as a result of internal career development currently underway.
This role will require you to have direct input across this significant mining project, with a key focus on providing leadership and management of electrical engineering projects, shutdowns, and maintenance in achieving the mines business plan.
As Electrical Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will be:
· To develop, implement and monitor Electrical Engineering services - including consultation, advising, design, installation - commissioning and maintenance
· Preparation of reports, estimates, quotes and organisation of engineering team
· To maintain correct levels of staffing and equipment required to complete duties.
· To provide training and support to staff as required
· Maintaining and ensuring all safety, quality and environmental documentation is correctly completed.
· All site electrical equipment and statutory requirements.
You will need to be a degree qualified Electrical Engineer with the following skills;
· Confident and organised administration skills
· Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
· Solid management skills - time, people and self
· Very strong technical experience
