The team
Our client is a Geotechnics specialist ground engineering consultancy company, helping clients manage the Earth.
They specialise in providing solutions from initial site investigation through to analysis,
Design and construction monitoring of ground conditions for major infrastructure, buildings and Mines. Their services add value to projects around the world from our offices in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Canada.
They are seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer/ Engineering Geologist (P1/P2) to work on secondment in our Albany office, approximately 450 km south of Perth. This office works on a wide variety of work on projects such as main roads, residential and industrial Subdivisions, ports, contaminated sites and single, commercial and residential buildings. This is the newest office in the company, and represents a great opportunity to be part of developing it into a self sufficient, stand alone business unit.
The role
· Working closely with and reporting to the Office Manager this role will involve a wide range of
· Tasks including field studies, engineering analysis and report writing. You will work on
· Projects ranging from small buildings to port redevelopment conducting site work tasks with the opportunity to develop within the company system.
The person

· Accredited degree in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology
· Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic

· Strong team player with determination to succeed
· Outdoor interests and willingness to work in the field and travel within the Great Southern Region
· Strong drive to develop geotechnical skills and learn on the job
