Project/Exploration Geologist

Our client is an Australian based exploration and development company who have a number of significant advanced projects in [Location].
Having recently celebrated the commencement of production at one of these sites and with another project about to share the same success the company is in the midst of exciting times as they grow and develop into a world class operation.
In order to support this growth, they are currently in search of a number of key personnel to join their expanding geology team. At present, they are looking to appoint a Project Geologist who will play an active role in contributing to their day to day exploration activities.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Supervision of field programs
· Logging and mapping
· Project/deposit interpretation
· Reporting and reconciliation
· Grade control drilling activities
To be considered for this role, it is essential you have relevant tertiary qualifications in geology and ideally you will also have had some experience working in the field – however graduates are also encouraged to apply. Strong computer skills and knowledge of GIS software packages will be highly regarded.
This position is offered on a residential basis living and working in [Location] and presents as an excellent opportunity to come on board with a company who are undergoing significant growth but still have the benefit of working in a small, close knit team environment.
