This is your chance to join a mining powerhouse at one of their major sites based in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland.
They require suitably experienced Mining Engineers to join their technical services team on site at this premier open cut coal operation.
You will join a team of engineers that are responsible for many aspects of the successful operation of the mine, including planning design and quality control of the overburden removal of coal mining activities to meet production targets across the site.
You will be...
· A high level performer with a strong commitment to health, safety and environment principals.
· Tertiary qualified in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 2 years experience in an open cut mining environment.
· An excellent communicator across all levels of an operation.
· Self motivated and have a high level of computer literacy, with an exceptional knowledge of mine planning software.
· Committed to improvement principles that will be of benefit for the long term.
